Great space saver!!!
I installed this center speaker mount above the tv but it can also be installed below. It was very easy to install. The hardware is all included the the instructions are pretty easy to follow on this product. I also ordered the side speaker mounts which I found the instructions to be a bit more straight forward but there really isn't that much to it so you should be able to figure it out quite well with what they include. The instructions include pictures which is extremly helpful! I would recomend the center speaker mount as well as the side speaker mount!
Works great
Enormity of speaker mounting options. Keeps the center channel speaker directly under the center of the flat screen. Makes for a nice and neat, professional looking set up.
Sturdy and well made but not what I expected...
Let me preface by saying that I was in the market specifically for a mount that would allow a center "sound bar" speaker configuration to mount below the TV. A bit of research showed this product and products from Chief mounts and Sansa were the really the only 3 viable solutions. After doing a bit of pricing and feature comparisons, I decided to go with the Omni Mount solution. I paired this speaker mount along with the (advertised as fully compatible) UCL-X.
The mount itself is sturdy enough and well made, how ever there are 2 major gripes I had:
1) Although it is advertised as compatible with the UCL-X, it is only compatible with the UCL-X when the TV mounted to the UCL-X uses a specific mounting pattern. For example my LCD required using the alternate mounting options for a VESA mount pattern. This required the alignment of the support arms to be very close to the center of the TV. In this configuration the speaker mount can not be installed in the center of the TV mount and it will conflict with the TV mount arms. I ended up having to purchase 2 of these speaker mount, and used one on each size. This was a added cost I had not planned on and has I known prior, I probably would have chosen an alternate solution.
2) Maybe I just couldn't follow instructions properly, but I even had several others look at the included hardware and the instructions for mounting the adapter plate. To me, it appears 2 of the screws provided are supposed to pass through a hole in the bottom of the adapter plate, and then screw through the top of the adapter into the threaded holes in the speaker mount. The only problem is that both holes in the adapter plate are the same size, and the screw heads pass through both holes. No washers are provided to stop the head from going through the second set of holes. You can not mount the adapter plate to the speaker mount given the instructions and provided hardware.
A more minor issue was the fact the documentation on the Omni Mount site states the mount is rated for 40 lbs. but the box the speaker comes with states only 35lbs. is supported. I wonder which is actually correct.
I really wished they would have spent a bit more time engineering this product to be fully compatible with their products that are listed as compatible. It was frustrating experience and caused the installation to take an additional week waiting for the second speaker mount to arrive. But in the end, I am happy with the final result.

Excellent. Great Buy.
I had to install the bracket upside down (speaker is mounted on top of the TV instead of below) because the bracket hit the AV cables coming out the back of my TV (Panasonic Plasma 42"). It was no big deal. Still looks great. I would recommend the "Omnimount" product line to anyone looking for mounting brackets for flat panel TV's.
