I like the built in stand; another router I own by a different company lies flat and tends to slide around, not a problem with the Belkin ME1004-R.
Not exactly for Vista
(3 out of 5) by Mark Mc on Nov 23, 2009 (OH USA)Don't get me wrong, there is a method of getting this to work using Vista, but I couldn't get the unit to stay online long enough to use the internet site that'll allow you to set this thing up. Very frustrating. But I did find out as a result, that Amazon has a really good return policy that I took advantage of. Then I bought a Linksys router that was a snap.

But to my surprise it is working great. I've gotten up to 18 Mbps download speed when connected with an Ethernet cable, and 3 Mbps download when on wireless.
But I think this is more a factor of where my computer is in the house, rather than the router. All in all it's a great little router. I heartily recommend that you get it!

Ok for the price- you get what you pay for

Ive only lost signal once and just turned it off and on again and it was fine. just make sure you reboot you modem when you first set up. Ive had it for about a month and it reaches through the whole house. Its awesome :) now i can hook my laptop up to my stereo and play pandora and take it in my room and watch youtube in bed. its great!
