Easy setup, works great with Mac

(5 out of 5) by myoho guy on Apr 4, 2008 (Northern California USA)
I was looking for a compact wireless router for my small (600 sq.ft.) apartment. From out of the box to being on the web took less than 10 minutes. After being guided by a few easy steps from the installation CD, my Powerbook was connected and I was able to get a strong signal even if I went into the other room from where the unit was plugged in.
It is, as another reviewer noted, smaller than it appears in the photo and you have the option of standing it on it's side, which further reduces it's footprint.
I would recommend this to anyone with a small apartment or condo who wants wireless connectivity without bells and whistles, and wants a simple design style that blends in with a small space.

Fantastic product!

(5 out of 5) by M. Young on Dec 6, 2007
The setup for this router could not have been easier. It is laid out in plain language and takes about 3 minutes total. I have a fantastic signal in my entire apartment, really really fast internet for it being wireless, and I have never had a problem with losing the signal.

Great router for cheap price!

(5 out of 5) by R. Moy on Jan 25, 2008 (Boston, MA)
This router has everything. I am using this as a wireless bridge to extend my wireless coverage to downstairs in my old house which doesn't have wireless friendly walls and floors.

It has WPA/WEP protection. 4 port 10/100 switch. Great web interface. Nice and small. Has MAC filtering. Wireless bridging of course. MAC filtering for wireless bridging. Have this bridged to a D-Link DI-634M.

No cons whatsoever that I see!

TWO ROUTERS: 1 dead after one minute, 1 dead after 2 weeks. DO NOT BUY!!!

(1 out of 5) by Jeremy Pfeifer on Jan 9, 2009 (Windor Locks, CT USA)
The router was super easy to setup. I set the WPA encryption, set the channel ID, setup the share name, and restarted the router in only a couple of minutes. Too bad it only worked for 1 minute after that before going into a coma where it did not respond to anything. I even tried doing a hard (paperclip) reset, to no avail. Oh, and it looks and feels like a super-cheap router. It's quite flimsy.

UPDATE: I recently received a replacement router. It WORKED ok, but caused pops and glitches in streaming video and audio (a major problem, IMHO). Moreover, I could only connect to another computer on my network at 1/5 of the advertised 54 mbit/sec rate. So, I wasn't totally thrilled with this router when it decided to stop working altogether. I tried resetting it, to no avail. None of my computers could see the router. THIS ROUTER IS COMPLETE GARBAGE. Two of these routers have died on me in less than a month. Needless to say, I absolutely do not recommend that ANYONE buy this router. In fact, I'm so annoyed with wireless LANs in general that I'm running wires through my house now.
