Linux out of the box!
Took a chance finding something that would work with my Ubuntu Linux installation.
Took this unit out of the box, plugged it into my USB port and - BINGO!! I had a nice, strong wireless connection! I didn't have to do a thing!! Continues to function well - no complaints at all! Highly recommended,

Great bang for buck!
Belkin has come to be a brand I can trust for dependable products that cost much less than others but deliver equal or better performance. This adapter holds true to form. Installation was a breeze, and it connected my Dell desktop to a secure Verizon FIOS wireless network without a hitch. The router is on the other side of the house, several rooms & walls in between, and I'm getting "very good" to "excellent" signal strength with speeds of 48 to 54 Mbps. The networking utility software included seems easy to use so far and is very intuitive. It's high marks from me all around for this product, especially considering the dirt cheap price.

1 out of 3 worked
Of the three I've bought only one lasted more than a few months. I don't know what happens to them but they just quit working. First they quit until you unplug it and plug it back in so Windows can find it again. After a while that doesn't fix it either.
The software is terrible. It quickly leaves you and your computer confused as to what is in control of the device,or rather not in control.
Connectivity, when it does work, is erratic. Measures to mitigate what little interference I had was fruitless.

NO support for 64bit
There's no support for 64bit systems. And off course, there's no info on the website about it or if they're ever going to make it.

Somewhat large, but it just worked
I bought this adapter because I thought that our desktop computer wouldn't be in the same room as the router in our new apartment. The adapter itself is somewhat larger than I thought it would be, but the size may just be necessary to pick up a better signal.
The adapter worked fine in both XP and Linux. I was happy to find that it supported WPA2 with no fuss under Ubuntu Linux.
