The good and the bad
(3 out of 5) by KayDee on Sep 9, 2008This is a great phone. Love the extra handsets. The sound is so crisp and the handsets feel solid, not like you're holding a toy.
But, the range is so short. And is DOES interfere with Internet connection. If I use the phone near the computer, I have an intermittent connection and when I hang up, I lose all connection to the Internet for about 60 seconds.
Not as good as I had hoped, but better than what I had before!

Panasonic KX-TG1000s Cordless phone with 3 handsets

It has a slightly shorter range than my old 5.8 MHZ phone but I find that inconsequential.Was a great buy at $75.00

use with internet broadband phone service
(4 out of 5) by X. Chen on Jul 6, 2008 (NYC)everything on this phone is great. size is perfect, battery life is very long. speaker phones are loud and clear. only problem is that i use broadband phone service and only 2 of the phones can conversate together simutaneously at one time.

I like this phone

The menu controls are a little less user friendly on the new one -- particularly viewing previous calls. The answering machine blinks when you have a message instead of showing the number so if you've listened to them, but want to go back there isn't a visual to remind you. I ended up using the answering machine from the old one and just using the new one for the phone cababilities
The quality of the phone is fine. The range is about equal to what I had previously which disappointed me some I was hoping for a greater range with the updated phone.
The three phones is a nice plus. All in all it serves my needs well.

No audible recorder beep
(2 out of 5) by Herbert Arthur Rideout on Apr 29, 2008This is a nice telephone except...... when someone leaves a recorded message the only way you know it is by a small flashing light there is no audible recorder beep. We had this phone for nine months but were just missing to many calls. So I went on line to the manufactures web sites and started downloading their operating manuals on telephones that I was interested in. I recommend the Uniden DECT2085-3 Dect 6.0. which I find is a much much better phone.
