It's a Pioneer

(5 out of 5) by Ionel Halaciuga on Sep 28, 2009 (USA)
I own one of these for 2 years already. It's a Pioneer! I installed it myself, works flawlessly with 200W speakers. It reads even bad CD's. By bad CD's I mean the ones that give you a reading error with other players. Great Value.

good deal / good price / easy to install

good quality. i wanted a cheap CD / MP3 player with Aux. line in and this delivered. like all car stereos you'll need an install kit and/or proper tools for your car.

Thank God!

If you have a cd player in your car and an MP3 player in your pocket, then you've grown used to the tedious routine of messing with those dumb FM transmitters. I don't care how much you pay, those things don't work in heavily populated areas. This stereo solves that problem with the Aux Input. This feature by itself is enough to warrant 5 stars for me, but when you throw in the overall functionality of the system, the retro turn-dial volume knob, and the handy remote control (for tailgating parties), this thing becomes a great stereo. Even better news, if you had a pioneer set in your car before, the hookup hasn't changed in years, so you can probably just swap it without doing any wiring.

LOVE IT!

This head unit is the best. It was easy to install, has great quality sound and it is easy to operate while driving.

Great Sound / Dim Display

(3 out of 5) by Phoenix on Jan 29, 2008 (Oregon, USA)
I was very happy with the sound quality of this stereo especially when paired with an ipod through the auxiliary cable and continue to enjoy it. The LCD display is viewable both day and night though the green buttons you can only see at night. The biggest problem with it is how dim the overall display is... take note that the display is not NEARLY as bright as all of the pictures on the internet show you. The pictures online show a shiny black stereo with bright neon green buttons and lights and this is not the case. In summary if you don't care about looks and just want good quality with an aux. input its a great buy. If you want something bright and flashy keep on looking.
