Perfect fit for my 4th gen ipod.
(5 out of 5) by The Tech Guy on Dec 12, 2008I ordered this because it was an exact match for my 4th gen ipod, and the swap worked perfect. This is a tough little hard drive. My old one lasted 4 years with very high usage, numerous drops, and extreme temperature changes.
Cheaper than a new iPod

For the price, I have no problem doing this every few years and it's way cheaper, and environmental, than buying a new iPod. Yes it will gradually die but they all do a some point.
Works Great
(5 out of 5) by Mark Montgomery on Mar 7, 2009I believe I bought my hard drive about a year and a half ago for my fourth generation iPod. It still works great to this day. I did have to have a friend install it though. That type of work is a bit beyond me.
