Great Product

Feb 18, 2008 - By T. King (California)

For the price, the P-162's in the infinity series do have a distinctly better sound than the p-152's and the p-142's............I would recomend if the price difference was right.

Good sound for small space

May 23, 2008 - By Nancy McKeown

This speaker provides great sound inexpensively. It works well for a small space as well as large and doesn't visually dominate the room.

Outstanding Listening

Sep 26, 2008 - By Robert Grant

This is an amazing speaker/s. I first purchased Polk Audio RT35 speakers on Ebay and I received them damaged. I then purchased the Infinity P162. There was a world of difference in clarity. I can't say the sound of the Polks wasn't effected by the Postal Service shipping. They obviously were handled very roughly. Broken grill, damaged corner, broken hanger. But the Polks retailed for $100 more than the Infinity's. If the sound wasn't affected by the damage then the Infinity's were a better speaker for me. Even my wife could tell the difference and I believe she has a tin ear! The bass is also very good.

great value for the price

I've heard many recommendations from my audiophile friends for a good set of speakers keeping in mind surround upgrade for the future. P162 were one of them - work wonderfully. Crisp sound, very nice mids, overall a great value for the price.
