Great camera
This camera in this combination of lenses is absolutely great. The first time I really used it was at the Daytona 500, got some awesome shots. It stopped the cars with no blur as the went by at 185+ mph. The 75-300 zoom lense is much stonger than I ever imagined.

Awesome product
There's most nothing to operating this camera when in auto mode. trying to decide what options to get with it was the toughest part of this purchase. Sales transaction was as easy as can be. Shipping was on time as well. Very mooth transaction through supplier. A++ experience altogether!
Everything in one great package!
This review is going to be a little biased because this is my first digital SLR, and I haven't played much with any of the other DSLRs, but hear me out! I had an older 35mm Olympus that I loved for nearly a decade, but it was starting to give out, plus with the mass availability--and high quality--digital photo printing means, I decided it was finally time to give digital a chance. I chose the Sony alpha mainly based on other peoples' reviews of the quality of the camera and the organization of the features and menus, in addition to the 10.2 megapixels and a general faith in Sony products.
First off, I'm going to start with the contents of this kit. The main things are the camera, two lenses, extra battery, and memory card. The other items, like the bag, lens cleaning cloth, and usb reader are great bonuses, as they aren't necessarily things you need right away, but that you would end up buying anyway. I'm a fan of the usb card reader because I don't have to mess with connecting cables from my camera to my computer. I shopped around, and this is pretty much the best deal I could find on a brand new alpha with lenses.
Now for the camera: I love it. This camera is brilliant. The standard lens is 18-70mm, while most other brands are standard 18-55. I find that for general photographs, this allows for a pretty solid range of distances, and yes, I think the extra 15mm range makes a difference! The 70-300mm lens provides incredible zoom while maintaining the integrity of the image. The camera itself can be finicky when you're fully zoomed in, however, and I find that I can get more focused shots in the manual mode. Even though this camera functions really well in the automatic mode, I still recommend getting comfortable with the manual functions, like how to adjust the shutter speed. This camera also takes incredible shots in natural lighting. You can photograph something at night in dim lighting, and the photograph still looks great and retains natural colours. The menus and modes of this camera are intelligently arranged and can be easily maneuvered without constantly checking the manual. With the battery fully charged, I probably took well over 400 pictures, using the anti-shake mode and generally in the auto mode, and stopped to check out the pictures I took as well. The 2 gig memory card holds approximately 480 images in the standard image mode, as well. A few things to note regarding this camera: perhaps it pertains to all DSLRs and I just did not know it, but with this camera, you DO need to use the viewfinder to see what picture you're taking. The camera doesn't pull up the image on the screen beforehand like with most small digital cameras. This camera also does not have a video mode as it is intended to take pictures. Some people have mentioned the noise from the camera, but as a novice, I didn't notice anything particularly irritating except for once in a while when the camera is trying to auto-focus when really zoomed in on something.
I really am impressed with this camera and the quality of the images it captures. I also highly recommend purchasing a kit like this one so that you can get everything for a good price and also don't have to worry about compatibility.

Sony A100
The item was received in excellent condition and as described in the ad. Prompt service was noted on Cameta Camera's end. I would buy from them again and will recomment them to my friends and family. Thanks again Cameta Camera.
