Love IT

(5 out of 5) by Phillip Colyette on Feb 22, 2008
If you are building or have a SLI computer then I truely recomend this memory.I bought 2G of Corsair CM2X1024-6400C4 and I installed it in my 680i MB. With Vista, you have a program call Performance Information and Tools. When I had the Cosair it had a rating of 5.2 of a possible 5.9 then I overclocked it to get my Core 2 Quad 2.4 to 2.6. The best I could get it before it got all retarded was 5.3. Now with the OCZ it came out the box doing 5.4. Now I got the Quad processor at 2.7 and the 1066mhz to 1200mhz. The performance rating 5.7 and it's very stable. Sure I can tweak it more But I'll wait till this stuff gets cheaper before I really test it's limits. This memory was design for SLI setups and I will say this this memory sells fast since the prices are going down. I was here so I can get another 2Gs.

Change your settings

(5 out of 5) by J. Proffitt on Nov 6, 2007
I have 4G of this RAM in my PC. Works like a champ, but REMEMBER to set your motherboard's voltage setting for your ram. This isn't your Daddy's RAM, you have to know what you're doing to use such high end ram.

Good ram ,, but may be tricky

Could not get bios to set, to Ram speed., But thankfuly to the great Gigabyte motherboards,,, the bios auto set once I rebooted upon trying to set bios speed.

Ram runs well

I had OCZ DDR2-800 platinum ed. ram before I purchased this ram. For some reason I couldn't get it to work the way it was supposed to. My friend had this ram and has had no problems what so ever. So I purchased it, snapped it into place, raised the voltage level, and everything works just as it should. Very pleased. : )

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Went through 2 pair before I went to Corsair Dominator.
