A great phone for Mac Skype users
This unit works extremely well as a Skype phone. I have not noticed any range problems when using it throughout my home. It conveniently recharges through any mini-USB cable, so no wall-warts or other cords are required. Sound quality is good, no better or worse than most cordless handsets. The icons on the blue-backlit screen are intuitive. Integration with the Mac Skype client is very good. Scrolling through the contacts on the phone will also scroll them on the Mac client at the same time. The ringtone is customizable, but there is no way to adjust it's volume as far as I could find. The unit is comfortable to handle and appears well made. The charge on the two included AAA rechargeable batteries lasts for over a week in stand-by. The USB wireless dongle is about 3 inches long and a little wider than the USB connector. I had no reception problems with it mounted on the back of my Cinema display.
Be aware of the poor customer service before ordering
I am using this product with a Intel iMac. Although I am generally satisfied with the hardware, the software has been somewhat buggy on my iMac. Miglia is apparently not supporting this phone. The last software version is in 2007. Two email requests for technical support went unanswered. Look at their website. There are no telephone numbers supplied whatsoever. I have never had good customer support from a vendor that insulates itself, as Miglia does, from the end user.
Good audio quality, limT
Overall, this works well for me. BUT, here are the limitations:
Good:
- Costs $100 less than other products (I paid $35 on eBay)
- Good range (over 25 feet)
- Good battery life (once a week re-charge)
- Good audio quality, both incoming and outgoing
Bad:
- Very small display screen
- Does not display address book (must go to PC)
- Driver software disrupts normal PC audio (must close driver to hear speakers on PC)
For me, it works well. Lightweight, great sound quality, long battery life.

Excellent cheap solution for Skype!
This unit works like a miracle. Installation is quick and trouble free, and there is very little configuration required. After that you can start using it like your regular phone. Surprisingly you can browse your address book from this unit, as well as dialing numbers via skype out. It also works with Skype in. On the whole, it is great for both - an ordinary use, and small business like mine. If you consider buying VOIP phone don't hesitate and choose Migilia Phone Plus.

Question on use- poor support
I bought this phone last week and it works but can someone tell me how to dial out without using my computer to dial or the contacts to dial? I dial using the phone, hit the left call button and nothing happens. Contacts work but not when I dial using the phone. Thanks
