It's the only big screen mount I've ever hung. It spans 3 studs, and appears that it will hold up my c.90lbs Panasonic 50-inch plasma TV forever. I already knew how to use a drill, a leveler, and a ratchet wrench (all essential). I ordered it at the same time I ordered the TV. After *careful* study of the manufactuer's literature and materials, I had it up before the TV arrived. I was amazed that the TV went up *exactly* where it was supposed to be; made me feel like a pro. Make sure you go the manufacturers web site to see if your big screen TV is on their list. And, make sure you've got two extra strong arms to help you lift that big TV. This is the "silver" model, and I would suppose that the only difference between this and some of the other models is the color: I like silver.

this mount worked great, hung a 42 inch samsung and i needed the extra length on the wall bracket....38inches so i could hit three studs and not just one in the middle...

This mount is just as advertised. Heavy duty, easy to install, and hanging the TV on it couldn't be much simpler. I used it to hang a Panasonic Viera TH-50PX80U 50-inch plasma TV. This model of hanger is a little larger then I would have needed for a 50" screen, but the additional length (38") allowed me to catch 3 studs regardless of where I placed it, where as the next smaller model only has a 32" bracket. You may or may not have 3 studs available for installation depending on how lucky you are in terms of where your wall studs are located relative to the center of the hanger. It's worth the extra 20 bucks or so not to have to worry about it, the hanger is still easily hid behind the TV, plus the advantage of the higher load capacity realized.

This was easy to mount and is very solid on the wall. I'm very happy with this product.
