I think this is the best sounding boombox of any boombox I've listened to. But be aware that it takes a lot of batteries and large magnets in the speakers to make good loud music and this adds to the weight of the unit. This sucker is heavy and bulky to carry. If you want something conviently portable, move on - this isn't for you.

If you want to annoy everyone in a 50 yard radius on the beach this is for you - but remember the spare batteries.

It is large , everything worked, for how large it is , it is not all that loud, but loud enough for me. You would'nt carry it around or anything. The guitar amp works, and I think it sounds about like a $60 amp. The ipod connector cable only appears to work on this unit.

Great product and gives a nice sound. It is quite heavy, so if you are a small person, pick something else if portability is an issue. It is very rugged as a consequence. No complaints. Docu could make you think you plug in a guitar and a mike, but you may key in either or. Aux in worked fine with my ipod, I have not tried the regular slot. Nice having the subwoofer and regular volume as separate controls. Like the white color, gives a clean look.

THIS IS THE BEST BOOMBOX ON THE MARKET...I LOVE IT AND HAD BEEN WANTING ONE FOR SOME YEARS NOW... IF YOU 'RE LOOKING FOR A BOOMBOX FOR THE BEACH, VACATIONS, BBQs, AND JUST ALL AROUND SOUND THIS BOOM BOX CAN'T BE BEAT WITH ITS HEAVY BASE AND CRISP SOUND!!!!!

We purchased this item for Father's Day so that Dad could listen to his Frank Sinatra CD's on his deck while grilling/during dinner. But the biggest users have been our teens and twenty-somethings who plug in their i-pods and play it on the dock all day long. It is large but has great sound and portability. We are delighted.
