Lovely extra drive

I bought this to use for backing up my computer and laptops. I plugged it in the firewire port of my computer and it was recognized instantly -- didn't need to load any drivers. I haven't had been able to connect it to my Eee PC (a laptop with a proprietary Linux loaded), but I'm still working on that.
