They sound good but the Shure 530 buries them!
I own these and the Shure 530's...
The UE's, the sound is rather thin, lacking body in low to mids., with the high freq glare with heavy roll-off accruing at 16khz. The bass is extended nicely, but still lacks the body and weight.
With the Shure 530's, lots of body, extended low freq, and the Highs are so much coherent, and well extended. Plus when using them with my Nokia N95 cell phone, they play a bit more louder than the UE's, at a level I much more prefer.
IMO, For the extra $$ to get the 530's it is well worth it.
As the UE just sit in my draw, not used.

It works, nothing else special.
It works nothing else special. You hear sounds and if your in a quiet place you can get the full sound output that these puppies can put out.

Im going to do you a 350 dollar favor
After glancing at the ridiculous price, and reading all the reviews I thought this product would live up to all the glorious hype. But no, It doesn't.
I know you're thinking, - How can this be with all these wonderful reviews saying how great these earbuds sound?
The truth is, every positive review fails to mention the type of music they listen to.
After owning these earbuds for about a year now, my best assumption is that the positive reveiewer's only listen to Techno, Heavy-Metal, or Rock.
Although I personally dont fool with those genre of music (NOISE), I can see how these earbuds would sound great for those purposes.
Because the highs are crisp- almost ice cream headache crisp.
And the mid's are adjusted way too forward and loud- to the level only a 6 time air-guitar champion could live with.
As for the low's, it pails in comparison because it comes off as a quick THUD instead of a sense of deep surrounding BASS.
And one of the earlier reviewer's had the nerve to say these earbuds had BASS..
Where ?
My friend, Do you know what Bass is SUPPOSE to sound like ??
The proper example of BASS is that car stereo you can hear 4 city blocks away, makes dogs and cats run for their lives, and makes you say 'Oh My God!
Once again, I know what you're thinking- This review is probably written by one of those hip-hop rap thug-a-lot pants saggin dudes thats almost completely deaf and doesn't know a thing about real music.
But no, I listen to a variety of different genre's, such as R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and others. And this is where these earbuds absolutely SUCK.
Now the other issues I had with these earbuds
The size of the earbuds were too big to fit comfortably in my ear canal, and I tried all the supplied silicone replacement tips.
Even the slightest of movement, such as yawning, or blinking your eyes, causes you to lose the proper fit for optimum sound.
Even if you store them in the supplied metal storage case, they tend to collect dust and dirt inside the earbuds too easily, so u are constantly cleaning them with the supplied metal scrapper (pictured above).
I finally gave up on them and purchased some regular earbuds (brand withheld because this is a non-biased review).

If you read my replies to the few Amazon viewier's who left me comments then you probably know that I stated my Ultimate 10 pro earbuds were officially for sale. After much thought, and remembering that serious case of 'BUYERS REMORSE' that I experienced the entire ownership period with these earbuds ( which was approximately 1 year ), my conscience wouldn't allow me to sell these earbuds to anyone else. Besides, any product that has to be inserted inside the body ( ear canal in this case ) is too personal to be resold in my opinion.
THANK YOU AMAZON FOR ALLOWING ME TO RETURN THIS PRODUCT, BECAUSE I WAS EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH IT, AND I ALSO WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE AMOUNT OF MY REFUND. BECAUSE OF YOUR RETURN POLICY, I WILL ALWAYS DO BUSINESS WITH AMAZON. ONE FINAL SUGGUESTION THOUGH, I HOPE YOU STICK THESE ULTIMATE 10 PRO EARBUDS WHERE THEY REALLY BELONG- RIGHT UP THE VICE PRESIDENT OF ULTIMATE EARS AZZ.
