Great Protection...

I gave this product a 4 instead of a 5 because the sleeve fits so snugly that when I attempt to remove it...it's not as easy as slipping it in. You have to tug and pull. I frequently have to pull my laptop out of it's sleeve for airport security, and it slows me down a little. I usually have to use my teeth and hand to get my MacBook out. LOL. Overall though....great buy!

Pretty good case, but...

That said, it's a good case that will keep your MacBook snug and unscratched. It is velcro, so you won't have to worry about rouge zippers nipping at the matte finish, which seems to be a big problem for a lot of other cases. Also, it doesn't add a whole lot of bulk or heft to the computer - I am able to fit it horizontally in my small messanger bag, even though it's obviously meant to fit vertically in a normal backpack - but it does provide the protection needed.
The case is good, but if you really want white to match your MacBook (personally, it doesn't really matter to me - no one can see the case in my bag anyway), you may want to look elsewhere.
That said, it's a good case that will keep your MacBook snug and unscratched. So good I barely even notice it's there!

I was looking for a padded case that I could keep in my backpack without having to remove it to get to my MacBook. I only have a thin little laptop divider in my backpack and tend to carry a LOT of random items with me, so my little Mac needed a bit of padding to keep it safe.
The velcro tabbed opening at the top (rather than most cases which have a zipper going 3/4 of the way around the case) makes this incredibly convenient to just slip my MacBook in and out of my bag without actually having to pull the case out and then unzip the whole thing to get my MacBook out.
Excellent padding, very nicely lined, slim dimensions and nice design.

Excellent sleeve

It's well padded with a soft interior, and it looks far nicer than I expected from the pictures here on Amazon. It provides great protection for my new macbook without adding tons of bulk. Great product.
