Bought two of these off of Amazon a lot cheaper than in the local Best Buy. They are easy to install and work farely well. The only issue I have is I have not figured out how to get around dialing using the phone keypad.

Not a bad accessory

This unit work very well with the kenwood KVT-819dvd head unit. The only concern I had with the unit is that the mic cable is too short........ I had to extend the cable.

Great Product, simply works

**I have a lot of experience and knowledge of electronics, as well as formal education in electrical engineering, if that matters to you...**

I bought a Kenwood Excelon KDCX692 at the same time, replacing my old KDCX832 head unit. I have always had Kenwood electronics (not speakers) in my cars. They make great mobile electronics. I was excited at the idea of integrating Bluetooth into my car. I have a Blackberry 8830 World Edition phone.

I plugged in the unit, stuck the box behind the plastic kick panel on the drivers side (the speaker is in the bottom of the door, in close range to the box, but no problems from that). I then ran the mic cable up inside of the A pillar so the actual mic sticks out at the top of the plastic pillar, out of the way, almost unnoticeable, but within an easy range of my voice. The manual has you running the cord right through the interior of your car, with the mic taped to the steering wheel - ridiculous if you ask me! So I hooked it up, plugged everything in, turned it on...and presto, as simple as plugging a lamp in the wall, everything worked! I had to work with the manual and my own intuition to work through all the functions on the stereo, but this unit itself worked seamlessly. The best thing to say about a product like this is that it installed easily, and then I forgot about it, out of site out of mind. I do not have any problems with feedback, or volume issues.

There are a number of factors that affect the quality/volume/feedback issues, from your car, your speakers, your stereo, and your phone, so no review here will be a universal answer to what you can expect. But my experience has been great.

Great!!!! Slight limitations but still worth it....

You have to send your contacts to the radio and you only have 3 speed dials on radio but other than that its a great device, i have an HTC touch pro and i love it..
