How Handy!!!

(4 out of 5) by T. Parks on Mar 17, 2009 (Mid Michigan, USA)
This thing is great! I am not using it at a desk, I use my laptop in my living room every day, it's on an "arm" of it's own, and this is clamped to the small table beside my easy chair. It has really helped with the pain I used to have in my wrist and arm. I have really customized my little computer work station, and this piece has fit right in. Like the laptop arm (I can move my laptop around, up and down, left and right, ... it's awesome and streamline)this mouse pad arm fits into the look and the functionality of my small space. I love having my laptop in my living room and these arms have allowed me to do so without looking big, bulky, or ugly.

Having the mouse pad attached to this arm is great! At first I wondered if I'd like that, but the arm and the mouse pad are greatly adjustable and quick to change on the fly depending on my posture... it's just awesome and I'm so glad I came upon it here on Amazon! 2 thumbs and an arm up! :o)

Quite nice

(5 out of 5) by Dylan Ginsburg on Dec 20, 2008
This is better than I expected. It's well built and very adjustable.
After a few long gaming sessions I already feel the benefit in my wrist and shoulder. Highly recommended.

Edit: After almost a year it's held up very well. My arms are not lightweight and the arm rest is still sturdy. The only flaw is the plastic mousing surface started to bubble so I use a mousepad now.

the adjust nub broken off in first 10 minutes

(3 out of 5) by Julian Luo on Aug 20, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA)
One of the plastic nubs that adjusts the height broke off in first 10 minutes of use. I can still adjust it by using a wrench. Other than that, everything else worked like it should, the rotation is a little resistive, but maybe it will become smoother the more I use it.

Update, just found a small problem, the arm cup does not move in a parallel line with respect to the base clamp. It is slanted by a couple of degrees, even after adjusting the two rotating joints to be as parallel as possible. There are teeth at the adjusting joints which locks it in place. Those teeth are slightly off which made it slanted. The teeth and the arm is one metallic piece, which I assume is probably the same for all units off the same mold.

Great....

The product is actually quite good the the price. It is solid and not cheap. The only thing that I found that could be better is a little softer arm rest but I solved that problem by putting my cushioning on it.
Other than that, it compares to to anything in the $160+ range. Would highly suggest this product.

The solution to my wrist problems

(5 out of 5) by Doc Riter on Jan 28, 2009 (San Francisco Bay Area)
I bought one of these for my desktop computer and liked it so much I bought another for my laptop. Unlike every other wrist rest I've seen, this supports your whole arm and so puts no pressure on your wrist at all. It's highly adjustable, so you can set it to maintain a flat wrist while you're using your mouse or trackball. It swivels and moves in and out, so it does not restrict your movement at all. If you have pain in your arm or wrist from using your mouse, this might be just what you need. Highly recommended.
