This well-priced device is very versatile: it can be inserted into the Pocket Media bay of a recent-model HP desktop computer, it can interface directly to any computer's USB port with a provided cable, and it includes its own carrying case to protect it at it bounces around in your briefcase. Its 80 GB capacity is sufficient for the majority of backup and file transport needs. And, its low power requirement allow it to be fully powered from a USB2 port (or two USB1 ports).

This works better than I had expected. It's small size took me aback. But don't let that fool you. The Roxio program that came with it works without a flaw. Good investment if you have an old PC that is close to the edge of failure.

This is basicly my new CPU. It is that because I switch between 3 computers. Like others it works with out a flaw!! and as a added bonus it fits in your pocket!! and also you can use it with out plugging it in!! Which would be perfect for air travel!! But one disadvantge (for you not me!) might be that it runs on 2 usb ports. But oh well!!

I purchased this drive for my new HP puter with Vista and am glad I did. I keep it in the socket and download/upload all my pics and music to this drive. That way it doesn't fill up my c drive which seems to have a mind of it's own. I am considering buying another one that I will move all my music to. Since, I have learnd that the smaller the file size of mp3s the worst the sound is in playing back. I have up the file size of most of my mp3s and it is starting fill up my drive. I couldn't be happier with this product.

This pocket media is an awesome drive to add to your HP accessories. It's great just to have a Hard drive I can download to and put in my pocket.
