Great Quality

(5 out of 5) by schurman on Dec 3, 2009 (Seattle)
This is the first wall mounted product that I have purchased where I didn't have to go to the hardware store to purchase better quality screws/bolts to mount the brackets to the wall. It seems like more often then not the quality of the screws/bolts are getting worse to keep the cost of the products down. However, I recognize that these speaker mounts are not cheap, but I'll tell you that the are worth every penny and you wouldn't be disappointed if you decided to purchase them. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great speaker mounts!!!

(5 out of 5) by BK on Oct 14, 2009 (Philadelphia)
These are very nice speaker wall mounts. They are very sturdy, which is what you want when a speaker is mounted overhead. I mounted a pair of bookshelf Paradigm speakers and am very satisfied. These are well made and very easy to install. If you aim them down, you will want to use the safety screws. You won't be disappointed.

I hung from them

(5 out of 5) by CoyoteTeacher on Oct 13, 2009 (Massachusetts)
These are very easy to install. One of the reviewers included a comprehensive summary of his installation; read that if you want hints. But, really, I found a stud, marked the first hole, put in that screw; then leveled it and put in the other three screws. I did not use the plastic anchors, but put the screws right in to the stud. I tested by putting most of my 180 lbs. on it--no problem.

My wife is okay with their looks, though she'd prefer not having visible speakers, while I think they look pretty good.

I feel the included rubber-like pads will hold the speakers if I keep them level, I will use the included security screws if I decided to angle the speakers downwards.

My B&W 600 surrounds are out of the way now. Satisfying.

Great heavy duty brackets. You will love these for mounting heavier speakers with a clean hook up

Great Bracket

(5 out of 5) by Andy B on Jun 6, 2009 (Fort Worth, TX)
I concur with the other reviews here - this is a great speaker bracket. I just installed mine tonight with no issues. My speakers are Polk Audio Monitor 40s, large bookshelf speakers weighing 16lbs each. I was a little hesitant to buy these brackets since their published depth limit is 11" whereas my speakers are 13" deep. But since the clamps only hold the speaker from the sides, my speakers fit fine. The brackets look great, seem very solid, and were easy to install.

I used a 7/32" drill bit to drill pilot holes, tapped in my own drywall anchors, and then used my own screws that were slightly longer than the ones supplied. I believe I hit studs on the other side of the drywall, but if not, I am still confident that the screws and drywall anchors will hold my speakers.
