Coupled with the PSW111 you can't go wrong!
I replaced a rather large set of Sony surround sound speakers with these little marvels. (the wife said they took up too much room) At first listen I was thoroughly impressed. Coupled with the Polk Audio PSW111 subwoofer, my living room has never sounded better. I'm most impressed with the clarity of the center channel.
My Set-up:
TV: Vizio XVT series 42"
RECEIVER: Sony STR-DH700
BLUE RAY: Sony BDP-S360
SPEAKERS: Polk Audio surround RM10 set w/ PSW111 Subwoofer

Incredible value!
I picked up a refurbished set directly from Polk for a solid discount and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I have them hooked up to my Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver using 16 AWG speaker wire and they sound great in my living room which is approximately 10' x 12'.
I feel that these satellites go low enough that I don't absolutely need a subwoofer. I live on the third floor in an apartment complex so I didn't want a subwoofer because I wouldn't be able to really use it much. However, I generally don't like overpowering bass so if you're a basshead, you might not agree with me on this. For reference, I generally prefer Sennheiser headphones because I like the tighter, cleaner bass that they produce.
I'm not an audiophile so I can't really describe every detail of the sound, but I watched a couple DVDs and Blu-rays and I'm more than satisfied. The scores sounded great, the dialogue was clear and easy to hear, and there was just enough bass to be effective without shaking my walls and disturbing my neighbors.
Overall, I think these speakers are incredible value for the money. A lot of retailers seem to have these on sale so they might be getting phased out, but speakers don't really get outdated like electronics do, so I think it's a great time to pick up a set if you're in the market for a good surround sound system.

Great sound for the price!
I'm happy with the RM10 speaker set so far. For what they are they sound pretty good. Keep in mind that these by no means are High End speakers, but for the price they sound better than expected. My receiver is sending everything 80Hz and above to these with no noticeable distortion. They only negative is these are really directional, so they are less forgiving when trying to set up the best position.

Polk Audio RM10 5 Pack
Great speakers for the money. The Polk Audio RM10 5 Pack includes a center channel speaker and 4 satellite speakers. No subwoofer is included. I already have 2 Kenwood KL-888 speakers that I'm using as my main front speakers. They have 16" woofers, so I really didn't need a subwoofer. I'm using this set to fill out my 7.0 surround system. The quality, build, and materials used in the Polk audio speakers is excellent. The sound reproduction is also excellent given the size of the speakers. I would highly recommend these speakers if you already own a set of large speakers or a subwoofer.

Best Speakers Ever. Issues with the Banana plug connections
I have actually bought RM 6880 package which is a RM10 package with a subwoofer. RM 6880 package is currently not available though.
Pros
1. The speakers are heavy & very well built. quality of the speaker material is very good
2. The sound is the best i have seen so far at this price. All the satellites can produce excellent sound at mid and high ranges. Center speaker is especially good and the voices are crystal clear. I will recommend the speakers to any one.
Cons
1. The angle and depth of the binding posts makes it difficult to fit many banana plugs. I was using Belkin PureAV AV54004 Do-It-Yourself Gold Banana Plugs, 4-Pack and these simply dont fit well in the binding posts. Binding post angle is too close to the speaker body. I was not the only one with this issue. See [...]. One way to get around this problem is using speaker pins like Acoustic Research AP-396 Performance Series Speaker Wire Connector, Pin Type
2. Center speaker is heavy and I had problems placing it on top of a CRT television. The supplied rocking base only works well on a flat surface.
These are small issues however and they are worth the extra effort for the sound you can get from the system.
