I bought this system over Christmas as a family gift from "Santa" and let me say it has in no way disappointed! For its size, this puppy truly brings it. Base is good, clarity is excellent, and it's so portable, I can bring it into the bedroom or on the balcony, even outside on the patio for a BBQ. It's more than I hoped it would be. Get it, you'll like it! Trust me. ;D

I own multiple iPod speakers, some costing as much as $299. ... The sound quality on the JBL Radial is outstanding. Very good bass considering how small it is. Great at high and mid-tones. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

It has been with me since yesterday and I love its sound, look and shape design. First, the sound. I have two 4G iMods (modified iPods) full of uncompressed music, so the aux input comes really handy here. Anything other than operatic vocals sounds better than good: I know becaus it sounds nearly as good as my carefully selected and highly tuned hi-end 2CH system. How close you ask? Well, for $100 you get a musically warm (but not overly so) midrange, decent details in lower trebles and enough bass to satisfy your ears. It gets loud enough to fill the room, but beyond that the sound will distort. Distortions and clipping take place earlier on operatic vocals (sopranos), I don't know why. That's about the only caveat that needs to mention (hence the 4-star rating).
The rear panel of connectivity, iPod charging and the cute shape are sweet bonuses. The remote control is an elegant yet to-the-point device, and I have no problem with it. In fact, I find its range sufficiently long. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.

First let me say that I listen to music to enjoy the details. I use shure e5c's with a portable amp from headroom because I want to hear everything. The JBL Radial allows this to happen with enough juice to really make you feel the base. (Others say it is too warm, if this is warm, then the Bose system has melted.) The mid range is flawless and the highs are superior to other systems like the Bose and Klipsch ipod dockable systems. If you are looking for something to connect to your laptop or other mp3 player, this works with an included audio in cable. You will not be disappointed if you are in the market for speakers for your device. By the way... THIS THING GETS LOUD, and the remote is a great addition, but could be better.

for the sound, looks, size and price its a steal. It has crystal clear treble from the "halo" and great bass from the subwoofer on bottom. I own a bose 321 and the jbl radial sounds just like it only with slightly smaller sound. Also has auxillary inputs on the back and comes with a sweet remote. PAID ONLY $165. Sounddock from BOSE cost $270. Crank up the volume-sound quality stays excellent(definitely sounds just as good as bose). I listen to metal, rock and classic rock on it. Actually gave me a headache it gets so loud. ROCK ON.
