Movie Time!!!!!

(5 out of 5) by J-Dog on Jun 19, 2008 (Bettendorf, Iowa USA)
A video camera on the PSP. I was really suprised at just how great the movie quality really was. Indoor lighting is a little off and the quality drops significantly in low lighting, but outdoor the images and movies are crisp. The mic could be a little better. The software is downloadable in English and allows for only 15 second recording, but using the video root you can access the camera and record over 2 hours on a 4GB DUO Card. Even with the downsides listed I really enjoy this product. What's next Eye Toy Games on the PSP?

Great camera, all in Japanese!!

(5 out of 5) by B. R. Reyes on Mar 6, 2008 (Over There)
Great camera overall. Cheap plastic feel, but what more do you expect--it's made for PSP. 1.3 MegaPixel, which seems to be either Industry standard for ALL webcams, or just the most popular. Has the option to chose between either Standard or Fine resolution. Has a built-in Microphone, but even at a foot away it's hard to hear your voice when playing back video. Comes with the Go!Cam Edit UMD, which allows you to do simple editing with your pictures. The only problem is that it is ALL in Japanese. So good luck if you don't read Kanji. Still, you can save your pictures and videos without the UMD, which makes it worth the buy; the pics are stored under Photos, the videos under Videos. Comes with a small plastic case for the camera. Overall, great buy.

PSP Camera

(5 out of 5) by Ken Cohen on Apr 8, 2009
Lots of fun - very neat package - Issue: Microphone worked for Skype, but not the camera - no one said it would, i just figured it "had" to. Nope.
Great device in any event.

I WISH I COULD GIVE IT 100 STARS!!!!!!!

This device is one of the best peripherals for the PSP. It has surprisingly stunning clarity and is very cost-effective. I live in the US and it works just great with American PSPs. The camera doesn't even have any Japanese markings on it. You can even download english software for free. This investment is equally as good as the PSP itself. Do not hesitate to purchase this product. I live in Florida and it shipped from California in FOUR DAYS!!! It is amazing and I have used a lot. This is a must-buy!!!!

Perfect

This camera is fun. With the downloaded GO!Cam program that's in english you can play around with some simple photo editing. The video editing part is fun, you can make yourself sound like your in a warzone or thunderstorm, and it does all the editing for you.
If your in the warzone it adds smoke, flashes, and static at times to your video, and in the background you hear weapons fire and bombs going off.

If you don't like the 15 second limit on "gocam" you can go to the "PHOTO" section on your PSP and access your chip directly, a 4 gig chip gives you a whole lot of video time.
