BEST AM Radio EVER
Back for my third one and noticed still no reviews, guess it's up to me to let everyone in on the Best AM Radio EVER. I got my first one in 1991 at a military PX. (It was the old style with the flat top) I have been hauling it back-and-forth to work every day for almost 17 years. Still works great. My second one I got about 4 years ago. (New style with round top, same great radio) It's my garage radio. Still works great. Getting a third one for my shop.
AM reception is outstanding, speaker is loud and clear, very tough case and the 4AA batteries last about 3 months with 6 hours a day of use.
Like I said Best AM Radio Ever.

Great Basic AM/FM Radio
Here is a good basic AM/FM radio. No thrills, easy to use, and portable. It's very light and comes with an attached cord to plug in. Also a nice handle to carry it.
If you like to play with switches and all, this radio is not for you.
If you want a simple radio that has a on/off switch, AM/FM, volume and a dial turner, antenna, then this one is for you.
Nice speaker and it has a great sound.

Great radio
This is a great radio. It has a excellent clarity and very good volume for its size. I use it every day for news and listen to Maverick basketball games that are broadcast on FM 103.3. It works well with headphones also so I can turn on a BB game to catch the score and flow of the game without bothering my wife when we are both in the the same room , for example, the kitchen. I bought two more radios to give to our sons. I use mine with Nimh batteries for portability. They stay charged a long time and are easy to recharge.

RCA RP7664 AM/FM MINI PORTABLE RADIO
I purchased this radio a couple of days ago from Noble Direct. I was very happy with their service, and it arrived in a timely and safe manner. It's a nice size and very easy to use.
I bought it to listen to at night. It gets almost all the channels on AM and FM. I get a channel from Canada, CHML 900 on the AM dial, which carries old time radio shows. The sound quality is great and it's in stereo. I love the black color and it is very easy to use. I have arthritis and don't have any problems turning the dials.
The radio comes with and electric cord instead of and ac/dc adapter which is a money saver. I had to rate the radio 4 stars because i can't get the electric cord back into the case. The antenna also doesn't swivel so you have to turn the radio, to get the right spot. It tunes easily and locks in the channel. I get almost all the channels even in bad weather. I am very happy with my purchase in spite of the cord and antenna problem
Gildersleeves came in crystal clear all the way from canada. Most portable radios are analog not stereo, so it was nice to find one in stereo that's small and from RCA. If you're looking for a good cheap radio with stereo, then buy this one.

Old fashioned quality !!
I read the reviews of this radio and thought I would give it a try. They were correct. This is the best AM/FM radio and at a price that is almost too good to be true!! I have just sold my Grundig radio ($49) and my Sangean ($64) and they did not have the AM reception this little, old fashioned radio has! I live in West Michigan and am able to listen to Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, Cincinnati, Minneapolis radio stations. At night, the reception is even better, of course.
I have owned about 14-18 portable radios over the years and this one is the best, especially since I paid $11.76 for it. What a deal for old fashioned quality!
