I've had this kit for a couple of months and had to use it several times to get those really persistant dust particles off my camera's sensor. Despite having two DSLR's with "dust removal" facilities, there are those times when the camera just can't handle the problem and a more direct solution is needed to get the sensor clean. The items in this bundle will take care of any such problem. I especially find the powerful bulb blower to be most useful item in the package and often it is all that is needed to get the offending glop of the sensor's surface. When it isn't, the swabs do the trick. A cleaning kit is a must if you change lenses in less than pristine environments and don't want to be without your camera while it's being serviced at a shop (where the same techniques will be used anyway).

I must admit that cleaning my sensor was a nerve racking thought! However, I just read the easy to follow instructions and successfully cleaned my sensor. I now have dust free images again! Thanks

Overall, a very good product and well priced. Probably wouldn't have been a bad idea to have included some lint free gloves at a higher price. I was a bit surprised to find that you have to construct your own sensor cleaning wands, although there is a pre-constructed one to use as an example.

When I first bought my Rebel XT, I never thought this could happen to me but it DID! Somehow I got something on my sensor and it smeared. I wanted the dust spots gone. I was terrified. I just knew that my sensor was history and that my camera had just become a very expensive paper weight. I went ahead and bought this kit and used it. WOW!!!! The first pass with the wand and cleaner and the smear was almost undetectable. I used several pec pads to make sure that all of WHATEVER that was, was gone for good. I went outside and took a few photos of the sky at f22 and loaded them on my computer and it was clean. The smear and dust spots were gone. My heart finally started beating again. I wish I had bought this kit sooner becasue my camera was out of commission too long. I was starting to have withdrawls. I would set it on my desk and stare at it longingly....

Buy this kit and keep it handy. But as you have read, DO NOT clean your sensor unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. There are better uses for your camera other than a paper weight. Use the rocket blower, it works great and puts out a powerful stream of air.
