When searching for my amp kit I already had an idea of how much I wanted to spend but I didn't want something cheap and I needed the right gauged. While browsing through Amazon and their many brands to choose from I found the kicker amp kits. After comparing them with some others I believed that kicker was the brand to choose. After the arrived it installed it right away and I was very impressed with the quality of the accessories that came minus the wires. After browsing around searching for the price on each accessory I was amazed on how much I paid for the kits and the quality of parts that came with it. Dollar or dollar and part for part the kicker kit is far better any street wire kit out there. First off the seller StreetStereo has this advertised as a dual amplifier power kit but It's really only a Single amp kit!! They tried to fix the problem by sending me a lower quality cheap single amp kit but after they even got the shipping wrong on the fix 2 weeks later and still nothing!! The main reason I bought this kit was because of the awesome price for a dual amp kit but turned out that was wishful thinking. I still gave it 5 stars because even though it was advertised wrong the kit is still solid and very well made. Kicker did a real good job with this <--------- I had to go out and buy the same kit from a local retailer because I was doing a dual amp wire job in my car. Ask the question about the advertised information of this kit before you buy.

This is an awesome amp install kit. I have seen many different brands from cheapo to high end and this one is top notch.

First off lets talk about the wire. Many cheap install kits will claim a 4 gauge install kit, but they measure the jacket in their claim. So what they sold you was a extra thick rubber jacket with a smaller wire inside, probably closer to an 8 gauge. Not this kit! Not only is the wire a true 4 gauge, but it is made of hundreds of very finely braided copper wires. This results in a much better product as it is extremely flexible, and doesn't fight you during the install process. It also carries the current better. The jacket is also a flexible, yet snag resistant materiel that makes it easy to snake during the install process. Another nice touch is that the 20ft power chord has a nice braided nylon jacket on the end that is in the engine compartment, giving it better heat and wear resistance, as well as matching the other wires under the hood. I thought that was a nice touch. Comes with a shorter 3ft 4gauge ground. I would like a little longer, but then again you want your ground as short as possible anyway. Also comes with 2 3ft 8ga power wires for your second amp. Once again I would like to see a little longer but it gets the job done.

Comes with a handful of average spade terminations, some zip ties, and a thin 20ft remote wire. All a nice touch.

Oh, the distribution blocks, I almost forgot those! Those things are solid! You get 2 distribution blocks for splitting the power, and a rock solid in line fuse box. The only thing that would have made it better was if they added a battery terminal connector. It has a termination that will connect to the standard battery terminal, but I like a nice large block.

One other thing, not sure why but they bumped up the price quite a bit. It is worth the price they have it at now, but it is not a "Deal". When I got mine, it was around half a hundred bucks so keep an eye out. It is a steal at that price, or even a bit more.

This is a great installation Kit. High quality wire and fuse holder, definately worth the money.
