Simple, cheap

It seems like it would be difficult to screw up something so simple. I tried to fix it by taking it apart and cleaning the contacts and reassembling the button, but it was dead for good... For $30 it would be nice to get more than a couple hundred shots.
That being said, call me crazy, but I'll probably order another one (or maybe I'll try the Opteka switch). Even given the fact that it broke so quickly, I like it much more than the Canon switch (hence three stars). I'll chalk this one up to poor quality control. The long cord is very nice, and the trigger takes effort to lock, meaning it doesn't get locked by accident as happens with the Canon trigger.

Cheap, simple and it works well!

MA-A Remote Release for Canon EOS

Nice Remote - Low Cost

Price is excellent compared to Canon's original RS-80N3. One thing I have to get use to is the switch is very sensitive for the first position. Barely touch it and it focuses the camera, then press normally to take the picture. I still give it 5 stars for quality, functionality, and Amazon.com.
