Upon changing to the VGA Component source on my TV it acted just as a normal component to component cable would and the quality is fantastic.
Also came with male-to-female adapters for those who want to extend their connection even farther with a normal component cable.
Cable is bulky and slightly heavy, but all things considered (shielding, high quality construction), it's no real problem.
