clean air

and cleaning the inner filters is very easy. They are completely
quiet and don't take up a lot of space. Shipping was on time and
customer service called to let me know the product was on the way. They
were very polite and I'm very satisfied.

Cheap Knockoff of Sharper Image
(1 out of 5) by Doc I on Nov 19, 2007 (Boston, MA)This is a cheap knock off the original. The air flow is very flow compared to the first generation Ionic Breeze. These are about half the size of a normal Ionic Breeze. You have to tilt these on their side to use, and they have a really bright blue led for a power indicator. For the ability to clean the air... Not more cleaning power with these. Don't waste your money. Buy a real one.. I have both at home and these suck.

(1 out of 5) by Danny on Jan 30, 2009you can only smell the ions when its filthy, otherwise I notice no difference at all with having them on. you have to clean it once a month. the car ionizer are garbage also.

do you have asthma?
(1 out of 5) by jonnymano on Mar 25, 2008 (detroit, mi)I had purchased these ionizers to try to reduce the amount of dust and relative stale-smelling air in my condo and to help my allergies/asthma. I was excited to try them out, but then I did some reading and found out that they attract the dust by releasing ozone into the air (Google it for a better explanation). I read in a few places that it is "unlikely" that the low levels of ozone they emit could be harmful to people with conditions like asthma, but they don't really know with certainty. I also read that it may be best to run the purifiers when you are NOT home, and shut them off when you are there, again, something to do with the ozone.
They may work great, and pose absolutely no health risk to anyone, who knows. I don't take chances with my health, though, so I decided to return them. There are other types of air purifiers that do not use this method, and I'm considering one of those, instead.
