Olympus Phone Recording Attachment
As a freelance writer, I often have need to record conversations both in person and over the phone. With my Olympus DS 40 and the TP7 Telephone Recording Device, I can easily record a conversation - even on my cell phone. When you are quoting people in print, it is important that you be able to accurately represent what was said. Just as important is the ability to hear inflections in the voice that indicate the interviewees feelings about the topic. The TP-7 makes it happen.
The combination of my Olympus DS 40 and the TP7 attachment has made my job much easier. I no longer have to depend solely on hand written notes of conversations when I write. I would highly recommend adding the TP7 to your recorder.

Great, great Mic !!!
I have this microphone since march 2006 and I use it every day from Monday to Friday and it works Great !!! The first test I made when I bought it was to whisper and it was able to get the voice, that was amazing... It is super sensitive. I think that is one of the features that I love the most... Long lasting great idea.
You can use it anywhere you can plug it in.
Make sure you buy it from the seller that the TOTAL amount (price + shipping) is the lowest...

Ear-bud Phone recorder is a great innovation
We are using an Olympus WAS-331M Digital Voice Recorder for interviews for an academic research project, and found that some interviews needed to be done by phone. At first I was surprised that Olympus' telephone recording device was an ear-bud instead of attaching to the phone cord. Then I realized what an improvement it was - you can use it on a cordless phone, a cell phone, or a call over a computer through the internet! The sound quality is great - or as good as your phone connection, anyway.
Two notes: (1) It comes with two adapter jacks, but the instructions are minimal to figure out which to use. (2) Make sure to plug the jack into the recorder's "mic" plug, not the "ear" plug. It will still record if plugged into the wrong jack, but the sound quality will be terrible.

Olympus Telephone mic
Works great but picks up a lot of background noise. If you're recording a call, just make sure you're in a quiet room/area.

Very pleased
The ear peice worked perfect for my recorder. It came with several fittings for different recorders, was easy to use and performed better than expected.
I would highly endorse the product.
