Bob was a great investment for our family. I no longer have to hide remotes or argue over TV time. Once the time runs out, it is gone. The blocks are also a great feature. If he wants to watch TV, he trys the code. If it doesn't work, he moves on to something else. If you have trouble getting your child out the door in the morning, you can setup a block to turn the TV off at whatever time you choose.

He figured out pretty quickly that he needs to conserve his time and choose wisely. The setup was a breeze. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is starting to battle their child over the television.

I cannot rave about this product enough! I was so tired of being the bad mom who kept turning off the TV when my three kids (12, 10, and 8 years old) were spending too much time vegged out. So I purchased three "BOB"s for our three TV sets, and the summer was blissful.

Each child has their own PIN to manage their own time. Each child has their own time allocation for the week. (Or, you can set up time per day. Plus, you can block out times completely.) My kids have become more picky about when and what they watch. And they sure don't walk away from the set with it still on anymore or their time runs down.

At first, I balked at the price; but it has been worth every dime. We tried the less expensive "Power Cop", but (I hate to admit) the kids learned to pick its simple lock with a paperclip. (BOB has a more substantial lock and key.)

We discussed how much TV time per week is reasonable. They agreed ahead of time on their allocation and then were stunned to discover how much extra time they actually had been spending watching TV. Plus, with a Master PIN, my husband and I have no accessablity issues when we choose to turn the TV on.

This product has been so helpful in our household, that I just purchase another one to attach to the computer. And the kids actually said that they thought it was a good idea because they are always disagreeing about whose turn it was and how long they each spend on the computer. Who would have guessed?

Bob has been a peacemaker in our house. I have two teenage children, a girl and a boy. Even though we had a time limit on how much television they should watch, it was very hard to enforce. Even they did not realize how much time they spent in front of the television (usually videogames for my son). Installing Bob made them decide how they wanted to use their time allotment. They no longer flip on the TV mindlessly. It has been wonderful. I can't recommend Bob enough.

Bob is great!! I have been waiting for a product like this. it is easy to use and it gets the job done! we now have no more fighting over tv time. I bought three. you can tell how good a company is by how they handle the problems. One of my bob's had a l.c.d. screen malfunction. They immediatly sent a new one and a shipping lable to return the old one. I was so impressed with this system because this way I was not stuck for a week without a unit. Their customer service is the best I have ever seen!! A sincere thank you to the inventors of Bob.

The TV Bob works good. We just wish you could program each individual day. We give more time on weekends, so we have to add time on weekends to make it work for us.
