I'm so happy...This machine is perfect. It replaces the same machine (older model) that gave us many good years. I searched every possible store in my area and could not find a phone that met our needs. Amazon was the only source for this model. Hopefully Panasonic will continue to manufacture it!.
Fax/Copier/Cordless Phone
I have had this model before and have been very pleased with its capabilities. It is the only machine with a Cordless Phone, which allows for convenience and flexibility. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that after awhile, I had problems putting in a new ribbon. Eventually the clip broke and I had to replace the machine. The last year of its life involved saying a prayer that it would click in and work again. But considering the price and all its capabilities, 5 years is probably a very good lifetime for a machine that is used constantly.
FAX WITH CORDLESS PHONE
Evidently Panasonic is one, maybe the only, fax maker that still makes a fax with a cordless phone. My 90-year-old father had a fax with a cordless phone (also a Panasonic) for about 10 years and when the old one died, he insisted on getting the same or similar one. Unfortunately, perhaps due to ubiquitous cell phones, nobody sells a fax with a cordless phone any more. We went to Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy and Radio Shack without luck. So I did the internet thing and found this fax on Amazon. The price was good, it works great and my dad is happy....

All in one very good
This fax machine is very good for the price and the features included. It is not too pricey and good quality for the price but let's examine a little further.
Pro's
1. Has a caller ID on both the wireless phone and fax machine. This allows you to carry your wireless phone around your office without having to look at the fax machine to see who is calling.
2. Faxes going out are good and it has not jammed on me yet. Although I suggest you don't overstuff with tons of paper. This is good for small faxes not 50 or large amount. For small business it will suffice.
3. Answering machine. The answering machine built in is of good value. It isn't the best though because it is digital and when you call in to it you can tell it is digital. For small business it is good but if you want crystal clear voice well I would consider another.
4. It works as a copier but is okay. It's black and white but copier is low to medium quality. It should not replace a computer copier or a office copy machine. I don't use the copier cause I got a HP Photosmart All in one.
Con's
1. Incoming faxes. It is of okay quality for incoming but don't expect super high quality. It uses a printer ribbon so it is not like a laser jet.
2. The reception is okay but is not like a high tech multi line phone.
Overall for small businesses it is fine. Large businesses I would look elsewhere. This fax machine is meant for faxes once in awhile but not constant. The wireless phone with answering machine allows you to just have this unit and you don't have to purchase an extra answering machine. For the price well worth it. Just a bit of warning is that if you plan to fax everyday or every couple of hours then this may not be the right product. Recommended for very small businesses, home offices, or home usage.

Panasonic KX-FG2451 Phone/Fax/Answer Phone/Copier
The unit is compact and puts phone, answering machine, fax and copier all in one place. Only draw back for me is that the incoming message volume is very low, so it is very hard to tell who is calling. Also, unlike previous Panasonic units I have owned, it does not have Talking Caller ID, again making it difficult to screen calls. The unit itself though functions very well.
