Let me start by saying I have never owned/used a fax machine before this one. I will agree with a lot of the other reviews about the volume not being loud enough on the phone speaker and the print is not the best quality. But, I do like the built in answering machine, cordless phone, and compact size of the machine. I would not recommend for heavy use but it is nice to have around the home if you ever need a fax machine.

I really like this fax machine, i needed a fax machine for my work at home business because i would need to make the occasional fax. It was kind of ironic because i actually had purchased the stand alone phone version of this fax machine and loved it. But the fax is perfect. I needed a fax machine that decent with a cordless handset that wasn't too expensive and this one fit the dime. Although as others do say, the papter/ink rolls are a tad expensive but i don't do much faxing so i don't forsee that being a problem and i see it being a wise investment.

another issue that i do potentially see. is there seems to be a mechanical mechanism that switches the fax machine from Fax to Phone Call, every time you make a phone call you hear the "click" and it sounds like something can potentially break.

overall this fax is pretty good but when you try to record ur own message, your voice will come out werid..

I found this fax/copier a good buy. The only thing is in my country (I don't know why) the caller id is not working.

The product itself is compact, sleek and performs efficiently. Product could be improved if it employed a message alert using sound, rather than just a flashing light. Accompanying instructions are not clear or concise, in fact, they're circuitous. Overall, it's a good piece of equipment that's quite satisfactory for home use.
