Exactly what I Wanted

(5 out of 5) by Richard Melville on Oct 23, 2009
I bought the device to send sound to my patio. Previously, I had a 2.4 ghz unit that was reallly not viable in my home. The 5.8 delivers sound perfectly and has no interference whatsoever. I have not tried the video nor the IR since my 65" TV is clearly visible from the patio and the remote for my system works throught the window as well.

Great Device

Works perfect for our old house. The den is adjacent to the kitchen but seperated by a thick stone wall. We wanted a tv in the kitchen while cooking because we are "news junkies", (love to cook). Hard wiring would be way too much work(been there, done that). This unit does the job just perfect with our new flat screen sony. The cable set up is in the den and with the correct angle of the receiver and transmitter, "It's Alive"..... cool.

good for my application

I just started using this and am very happy with it. I use this as a source for watching a outside tv in a RV. It is very clear and the sound is good. I am not receiving any interference in the signal. Very happy with it. I had a 2.4G before and was receiving some interference with it.

Wireless a/v works well

(4 out of 5) by D. Har on Oct 15, 2009 (Draper, UT)
The wireless AV sender works well, except for the remote control operation. I use it on Comcast service, with a motorola cable box. It's hard to locate the infrared sensor on the motorola cable box and in all fairness, I think it is the motorola cable box that won't work with the infrared extender. The video and sound quality of the received unit is extremely good as if it's connected directly to the cable box.

We are happy with the purchase and value. We had a Terk wireless transmitter/receiver and took it back because it showed a constant white line at the top of the TV. This one doesn't.

I highly recommend this one if you're looking for a unit that works.

Product works really well. was not even available at best buy. No regrets. I would recommend getting the remote extender as well.
