Must Have for your 17" MacBook Pro!!!
Get This Product if you love your MacBook Pro!
I was concerned about dust primarily in between the keys, although this would work beautifully for someone who might eat or drink close enough to their keyboard to cause problems. The Carapace keyboard cover fits perfectly, comes off easily for washing (reviews of other products indicate a sticky residue left on keys---not a problem with the Carapace) and in short is a must have for anyone with my concerns. There is a frosted glass type look to the keys when the self illumination is not activated on the keyboard, but it is still easy to read the keys.
I had read numerous reviews of other products and was concerned about the possibility of silicone key impressions on my screen. Don't know whether that would be an issue as I bought a RadTech screen saver cloth, a very thin microfiber cloth to put over the keyboard (with Carapace in place) for when I shut the case. It closes easily and the cloth also cleans your screen when necessary.

Excellent for Macbook Pro 15" purchased Dec 2008
Excellent for Macbook Pro 15" purchased Dec 2008. Stays on keyboard without any use of adhesive. Is easy to remove and clean and put back. Have used it for last 20 days. I remove it while doing processor intensive work (because the ventilation is blocked through keyboard, but don't require to if you are just browsing, checking emails or doing lightweight operation), and able to put it back again without much problem.

fits great- works exactly as advertised
This is the second of these I've bought- the first one was for my MacBook, which I chose after sifting through conflicting reviews about the iSkin and other protectors. It worked great, so I ordered a second for my new MacBook Pro. Fits just as well, comes off just as easily for washing, and doesn't make typing any less pleasant (does take a second to get used to the feel of it). Highly recommended for anyone who's as clumsy as I am.

works great for Macbook Pro
I was a bit worried about getting this keyboard cover due to the lack of pictures and reviews, but my fears were ungrounded. I got this for my Macbook Pro 2.16ghz, and it fits perfectly. It replaced a keyboard cover that had adhesive to hold it on, so I wasn't sure it would stay on by itself since all it does is sit on top of the keyboard. After a couple of days of heavy use I've concluded that it isn't going to come off, and I think it actually fits the keys better than my old one. I also like the feel of the plastic, it is a little rubbery and I find it more comfortable than the actual keys.

Love the way this feels
While other keyboard protectors cost thirty dollars, I got this one for under ten. I was expecting something a bit cheap but the keyboard cover is really good quality and does the job beautifully.
