I almost sent this monitor back at first because, although very detailed and showed no blur on video, it was too bright and so made print hard to read. After upgrading my video card from ATI 9200 to 9800 in order to use the digital input, realizing that (unusual) BOTH cables apparently are supposed to be plugged in for digital, installing the monitor driver, and turning down the brightness, I was rewarded with an exceptionally detailed picture with a monitor easy on the eyes, too. Even better with a new $30 sound card, so that the Realtek sound on my motherboard did not suck computer chip resources, and synchronization of sound with video was better. Cost $300 when I was all done, but I am a happy camper. Really lots of detail, no blur, and easy on eyes. Oh, and great sound now on my Monsoon speakers. :)
