Laptop Speaker Review

USB connection. Sound is an upgrade from internal laptop speakers.
Cons: Low power. Sound gets distorted if volume is turned all the way up.
For classical music or turning up a rock song a bit get more watts. Laptop sometimes does not recognize the hardware. Don't pay more than
$20 regardless of list price since that is all they are worth.

great speakers...
(5 out of 5) by dirkdiggler99 on Jan 4, 2008 (Palm Beach, FL)i received these as a chritmas gift to go with my Dell XPS 1530 laptop, Windows vista home premium recognized them as soon as the were plugged in. They are great speakers for music, as well as video games, i play WoW (world of warcraft) and they sound great.
If you're looking for concert sound, these are not for you... but if its good sound and highly portable you're looking for, def. pick these up

Nice portable speakers for a notebook computer

I agree with all the previous reviews: don't expect High Fidelty speakers
here. Do expect easy to transport speakers for your notebook. These
are a step above my Toshiba Satellite built in speakers, but don't match
my desktop's speakers in terms of bass. The USB connection is what you are
paying for, not the sound quality.

Great travel speakers

If you need compact speakers w/detachable connections that are great for presentations, these are the ones for you. Your typical speakers have perminant connective cables to power both speakers, well when your traveling and continuously have to take down and set up, the wires tend to loosen leaving you with one working speaker within 6 months. With the V10 USB speakers everything detaches so there is limited wear on the connective wires. I couldnt ask for a better traveling speaker.

Good value at low cost!

I am totally satisfied with these speakers. I can't find one negative thing to say about them. Connected to a
powerbook G4 they more than compensate for the shallow output of the G4s internal speakers and with just
the right music separation of the speakers. I do not claim to be an audiophile, but I would highly recommend
these speakers as replacements on your notebook.
