Solid Value
I bought this receiver in 2005 as part of a home theater in a box. It has performed flawlessly since then, processing and routing audio and video from DVD, VHS and broadcast sources, and outputting it via the 5.1 surround speakers. While it's video capabilities are stuck in the analog era, it's digital audio has always been crisp and robust to my untrained ears.

WALMART.COM $129
If you want an excellent performing a/v receiver at an incredible price, buy this unit. This unit allows volume adjustment of each channel independently. The RX5060 doesn`t have all the uneccesary crap like FXM / Serius, IPOD, USB, etc.. It has everything it takes to listen to very loud music with little distortion. I run four JBL Caberet series speakers off of this unit and the volume and sound quality is incredible. Hats off to JVC for once again producing a fantastic unit at an incredibly low price.

For the price it's O.K.
Don't think twice - buy this amp if you have a $150-$200 budget. It's a really fine product.
