Very nice

(5 out of 5) by Hugo Calendar on Jul 19, 2004 (Monument, CO)
A very nice item. After minimal setup, it's very accurate and quick. The only exception is if I use it from inside a building or away from a car window, in which case it either does not work or gives a result up to maybe 100feet off target. It has a magnet so you can stick it to certain surfaces.

Firefighters need Navigation Products

I've used this receiver with 3 different mapping products on my Powerbook (Route 66, Nat. Geo Topo, and Route Buddy). It works great with all of them.

Worked flawlessly during my trip to Europe

Used this, my Powerbook, and the Route 66 Europe 2004 software to navigate around Portugal. The total solution was cheaper than a dedicated automotive GPS and we never got lost even once! Good buy!
