Unwieldy

(3 out of 5) by Jean E. Pouliot on Dec 11, 2008 (Newburyport, MA United States)
Bad design is the hallmark of this iron. The grip requires the user to hold the iron uncomfortably behind the center of gravity, making it hard to press down on the item being pressed. When gripping the handle, the backs of the fingers press on the control dial. And the iron never really gets hot enough for linens.

There are nice features: the puff of steam is startlingly explosive. The iron does turn off when left unattended.

All things considered, though, I would pick a less "professional" iron next time.

Good Basic Iron

Iron works well but it sometimes leaks a little water onto the item being ironed. I would still recommend.

Works great, just a little on the heavy side but very happy with this purchase!
