It has a great resolution, works with my DVD, DVD+/-R, DVD +/-RW...NOT MANY OTHER BRANDS DO. Also has this small credit card size remote control which is nice and also easy to use. Comes with AC Adaptor and a Car Adaptor which is great to watch while in traffic or on my lunch break.

We purchased this DVD player 4 years ago for my 3 year old before we went on vacation. I got an unbelievable deal and figured that it would probably only last the duration of our trip. To my surprise, it is still alive and ticking. It is used everytime we go anywhere in the car! What a great product. It is compact, so it is easily slipped into a large purse. Our only issue has been finding a new power cord for it. Ours broke a few days ago and we are having difficulty finding something to replace it.

For 50 bucks, I think you could spend your money better. I got this like 5 years ago and it was in my price range, so whatever. The screen resolution is pretty good. It looks like they cut a piece of LCD screen from a 19" 1440*900 lcd screen, so you can get an idea of dot pitch. What's nice is the formats it supports, it supports a lot of picture formats, and Kodak picture CDs. Unfortunately, no DivX.
