Everything I hoped it would be and more
I bought this TV/DVD player for my husband for christmas. Being somewhat electronically challenged, especially where the abbreviations are concerned, I was hoping that I had bought what I presumed. He on the other hand, knows all about electronics and likes to have the best. He was extremely pleased with all of the features and picture quality. I bought it for our kitchen where we watch with our morning coffee. This is an excellent product.

Great Design
This TV/DVD has it all and I've have looked hard. Great LCD picture (viewed straight on like most LCDs) integrated DVD player, SD card reader, all of that plus it runs on 12V for the car and 180 channel ready. As far as I've seen it's the only 15" that does all that and more. (They also make an 8" with the same specs but not 180 channels). Sound isn't "big" and bassy but it's OK. Also it came from Beach Camera and the first unit I got had a bad pixel in the middle. Beach Camera replaced it very quickly and politely with free 2 day shipping.

Great TV for our RV
I got this TV for our RV. I wall mounted it on a folding arm mount. It offers 12v power input for use when AC isn't available. The DVD player works great right out of the box, as does the card reader. It also plays jpg CD's etc. Setup is simple. Absolutely no problems in the few months I have had it. I love this TV for my application.

Certainly decent for what it is
I bought mine by auction and find it works well enough as a bedroom TV (you have to be reasonable in your expectations of a 15" screen for a TV). Originally, I intended to use it as both a TV and as a monitor, and I think if I were doing that, I might give it a better rating, as its versatility is handy. The picture seems a bit fuzzy no matter how much I adjust the settings with the remote or physically adjust the tilt, so I have to wonder how well it would do as a monitor.
It is fairly full-featured as a TV, and the remote is lightweight but long enough to accommodate various dedicated buttons and to be found pretty easily when misplaced. I particularly appreciated having a dedicated CC button; I'm actually surprised that I still see TVs in this price range without such a button on the remote. It's attractive, lightweight, and works well as a DVD player so far. I only hooked it up as a monitor once (on a computer I ended up returning), so I only can verify that it does work as one, without being able to evaluate how well.
I wish the volume went up higher; I often work on a computer in another room and like to be able to monitor my shows from here, and I find that difficult with this TV. I find that when I have subtitles on, they sometimes are hard to read from the distance at which I watch the TV (as opposed to closed captions, which I find generally readable on this unit), but that's partly a function of the screen size and the fact that I'm using it as a bedroom TV rather than in a close-range setting, so it's not entirely Audiovox's fault.
Overall, I'm not horribly disappointed and don't feel I wasted all my money. I do wonder whether with enough knowledge I might have been able to search out a better unit with this combination of features, and I'm not sure I'd pay that price again for this unit if there were others out there with better picture. Nonetheless, when one considers the versatility and the elimination of the need for a separate DVD player, it turns out to be a decent deal ... especially if you can get a like-new one at a secondhand price!

My 30 day review.
I've only had this tv for one month, but so far I like it. All the features are working good. I especially like the full-featured remote. The built-in DVD player is nice. No problems at all.
