Works great, just a little uncomfortable

(4 out of 5) by Carlos Aldana Grajeda on Mar 9, 2007 (Guatemala, Guatemala)
Works the way it says on the description. The only con I found is that the switch button its little and its next to the cables, so its a little uncomfortable to press it.

A little tip: when starting the second computer switch to it, so the computer can detect the mouse, kbd and monitor correctly.

Mine jams every once in while. Have reset it by powering it down (unplugging everything). Pain.

RE: No problems Plig 'N' Play

(5 out of 5) by Richard Eggers on Aug 1, 2007 (Long Island)
I had no problems with this item a few things a purchaser should take into consideration:

This is for standard keyboard & mouse dont try and use a feautred keybopard or a wireless mouse it will most likely not work.

At times my video would revert back to 800 X 600 display, nothing a PC reboot would not fix 1 in 30 times this happened.

All in all a nice cheap fix, I would highly recomend for basic 2 PC KVM two thumbs up.

Useful tool

(4 out of 5) by W. Thompson on May 25, 2007 (Portland, OR)
So easy to use. Plug in, and you're good to go. The only drawback is that it's a little bulky, so it's not easy to find a hiding place for it. Now that I have my LCD monitor, though, I stick it right behind there, use the keys to switch between CPUs and I'm good to go. I love it! I wish I had gotten one sooner!

Did not work

(1 out of 5) by Robin K on Jan 14, 2009
When I attached a single DVI input or output, the unit would make a rapid clicking sound as if there was as switch inside toggling rapidly. It would not switch video at all and would always make the rapid clicking sound. I confirmed the video resolution was well within the specifications of the switch.
