The Midland Outfitters 5 Watt two way system works great! I have transmitted and received up to two miles away as clear as a bell. This communication was between two hills in a heavily wooded area. Based on my experience, this gets five stars. Next season I will check their range from my new Big Game 16' Luxury Box Tree Stand and update. ~ The Boss

I am new to two way radios so I thought Motorola well known brand must make a decent radio - I was wrong. They are complete junk. You cannot understand a word from the speakers. The voice activate mode takes 5 seconds to kick in talking loudly (even on most sensitive mode) to kick in. I was 100 yards away from the other user and every other word was cut off. I went an bought midland radios which work perfectly.I later found out that midland does have a good name in the radio world from a friend. Save yourself the hassle and avoid motorola radios. I have only had these for a few days but they work very well. they are reasonably weighted. THe voice activation with the included mic booms works like a charm. most importantly, i can hear very clearly what the other user is saying. despite, not having this long term I recommend these.

THESE RADIOS ARE THE BOMB!!!!! THEY HAVE EXCELLENT RANGE. THE ADDED FEATURE OF A WEATHER RADIO IS ALSO TO DIE FOR!!!!! I'D DEFINITELY BUY THESE RADIOS AGAIN!!!

These guys gave me prioraty shipping when I had gotten standard. Thanks guys now I have my stuff and I will be ready to go at the upcoming paintball scenario came that I will be attending!
