Simply a Great Mousing Surface
First off the name is sort of misnomer. This isn't a "pad" per-se which implies some sort of thickness. This is a somewhat flexible plastic sheet with a low-friction surface that is very thin. I have bought a LOT of gaming pads in the past and most were rarely worth the money. With a wowpad, some rubber cement and a few minutes time you can make a pad that will be superior to anything on the market. The wowpad's biggest downside is its thinness. Any unevenness on your desk will be transmitted through the pad. What I've done and I strongly suggest anyone buying one should do is affix the wowpad to something like a smooth, stiff vinyl floor tile that can be bought at any Home Depot or similar store. I found rubber cement to be the best option for an adhesive because it isn't permanent but it will hold strong for your most demanding gaming sessions.
The wowpad is easily cleaned with any household cleaning product, doesn't absorb soda, coffee, beer etc like a cloth pad does. It is also one of the very few pads on the market that actually works very well with laser based mice. I've never once had a skip, lag etc when using it with any of my Logitech and Razer gaming mice. Lastly, the price makes it a no-brainer. Just don't drop your lit cigarette on it ;)

Well Liked
I bought for our office and everyone really like them. At first I thought they were too thin but it didn't make a difference, everyone said they were great.

Great Buy ! ! !
This is probably the best mousepad I have ever bought. It's larger than the standard mousepad, but thinner and does not wear out like the other brands. It is easy to clean and protects your desk, table top, wood, etc. I recommend this product very highly.
Also, I know many think they do not need a mousepad these days because of the optical mouse. But let me tell you, when I scroll all over the desk area, small particles accumulate under the mouse. Using a pad can eliminate this.

Horrible optical tracking
I can't understand the positive reviews for this product. We purchased ~6 of these pads for workstations around my lab. With every single pad, the cursor randomly jumps to the edge of the screen. This does not happen when we switch back to normal mouse pads. Also, the pads do not stay in place -- they slide around all over the desk. When new, the pad backing is slightly tacky to grip the desk, but the grip quickly wears off. The only good things about these pads are (1) they wipe clean, and (2) the large mousing surface. Very disappointing.

Good mouse pad
This is an excellent mouse pad for gaming. The extra large surface is real nice. My laser mouse seems to track better on this than with the old style mouse pads.
The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars is the same as many others have noted... It does not stay put very well. I fixed this by using rubber cement to hold it to my keyboard shelf and this will still let me remove it when I want without any damage to the pad or keypard shelf.
