No Coasters

Great discs Genuine TY quality
(5 out of 5) by AMG on Nov 3, 2006These are genuine taiyo yuden discs, i have a Plextor PX-716A and it's able to burn them at 16X (They are rated as 8x)

(5 out of 5) by westbrookb504 on Sep 3, 2009 (New Orleans, LA)I have waited nearly a year and a half to be able to use my DVD recorder, since no other type of DVD other than the DVD-R 8X will work. I tried all the local retailers and even on e-bay were the closest place that sold these was Canada and the furthest was Japan!! After receiving these DVDs I transfered 20 year-old videos to DVD on the highest rating and I am excited to say that after creating 18 DVD's none of them are "coasters" and all of them give great playback. Whenever I run out of these, I will purchase from this vendor again.
I finally understand the Taiyo myth.
