Excellent sound, easy to use.
(5 out of 5) by Caraleisa on Apr 10, 2007 (West Chester, PA)I bought this system for my home office. We have a considerably more expensive [and far more complicated]Aiwa system in our living room. Well, this sounds every bit as good as the Aiwa, and it's a lot easier to use.
I am just an ordinary user who has a good ear. This system has very good separation of instruments and voices, and the presets actually are well done - something I usually don't love in other systems. I can play music LOUD or soft and there's no distortion or dropping out. My husband often works in the next room, and he can hear the music clearly and cleanly in there. Our music tastes range from classical to rock, jazz and folk, but not metal or rap so I can't say how they'd sound, but with the cds I've played so far, every one has sounded great. I recommend it heartily, without reservation. (Note - I haven't used it for cassette tapes yet, so can't review that particular aspect, and no radio gets very good reception where we live, and this is no different, though it has pulled in a few stations which I couldn't get before. I suspect if we put a half-decent antenna on it, it would perform nicely.) For this price you are getting a fabulous deal.

This is great!

The bass is also great! it's crystal clear to. Also, the manual is easy to read. The only con about this is that it doesn't display the time when it is in standbye mode. i personally like it when you can see the time, i sometimes wake up at night wondering what time it is. Bit otherwise i give it an A+
