Very clear but was not impress with the mid to low bass. Then again all i have to compare them to are the old alpine 6x9 i replaced.

This is an average speaker for an average price. It doesnt produce bass that well. It is clear and is probably a good replacement for a stock 6x9.

I purchased these speakers to replace the factory speakers in my car. I had to remove some fiberboard grating in the back window ledge but other than that the installation of the speakers was easy. The sound quality is everything I expected from a Alpine set of speakers. I would recommend these speakers to anyone. I feel that the price was reasonable and the speakers arrived when I thought they would. I give the seller five stars.

I had these in the back of my sisters car which i drove for a year, they were great speakers but not outstanding. Since I knew I wasnt keeping the car this is why I put in these speakers. They do sound great for basicly all music, strong mid and bass tones. I do recomend them but i now that i have my own car I am getting the Type-R 6 1/2 upfront and a Type-R 10inch sub.

Over all a great speaker. Very nice sound clean and crisp. I did have the ones with the 1 inch tweeter and im sure it made a small differance but nothing noticeable.
