I just got this case for my shiny new macbook and it's great - soft, good quality zippers, a little stretchy for my excess cords. I do have two small complaints though.
First, the main pouch for the laptop only has one zipper, which means i can't leave the zippers together on the middle top of the case. I used to do that with my old laptop case for easy access in airports.
Second, the cord pouch is awesome, but I still have to take all my crap out of it to go through airport security. I'd suggest caselogic to design a pouch that can be unzipped from the main case on one edge and flopped over to the side, so the cords are not on top of the computer during the x ray.

The case fits nicely around my 13 inch macbook. The pocket is a nice size. I can fit my charger, ethernet cord, and ipod in it. The only thing that could be better if it was a tad bit tighter. Good case, great price!

The Case Logic 13" Student Shuttle fits my Dell D430 perfectly! Case is light weight and well made. Outside pocket is handy for storing headphones, power supply, etc. I highly reccommend this notebook case.

I also own a XPS 12.1", and it fits perfectly, including all wires and cables. It's a solution to those who already own a confortable regular backpack but do not want to buy a laptop-customized backpack. I am very satisfied.

I bought this because it said 13'' in the description. It's a little bigger than that.
