I stick with only panasonic head units. Ive went through 4 already working my way up the food chain to what I call now the most powerful, complex yet simple model. I'm all about sound and to achieve some good results this unit is the way to go.
too bad Pana stopped making them
As always Pana has a reputation of making a great product for a while, then stop making it. Considered Blaupunkt for its hight wattage (25), but this one at 31W RMS, it s the king of the hill. I have it paired with db series Polks (component in the front, 6x9 s in the back). Takes a while to read the CD, perhaps because all the MP3 WMA stuff it has to do. Haven t had time to fine tune the eq or to put pretty pictures on display. Played with low pass/ high pass, left it at "full", since my speakers are decent. The AUX in input, have the wire on left pass side floor. My MP3 player needs to be tuned up, indicating an impedance issue -- I can live with it. Awesome product, would buy again.

Truly in a different league
Recently I decided it was time to stop playing around and really do my system right. I didn't want to add a second amplifier to power my full range speakers, as I would have to rewire the car, upgrade my power cable size, buy an amp ect... My friend was selling this head unit and I figured with the digital amp powering 2 ohm Infinity Kappas (read: 62 Watts RMS per channel into 2 ohms), I would have enough juice to compete with my Elemental Designs Nine.2 ampifier putting out 400-500 legitimate watts into 2 10 inch SQ10s in a sealed box. I just got the system all together in my Volvo and can say without a doubt, no headunit has an amp like this. The controls are a bit difficult to get used to, but once I acclimated, I was fine. The sounds shaping parameters are excellent and allow you to do anything you wish. The amplifier is clean as could be at all volume levels and never seems strained, even at ear bleeding levels. The display is super easy to read without being so bright as to be distracting at night. I was always a diehard Pioneer guy, but this head unit has blown me away. Its an excellent buy at 270.

SRS Wins!
The SRS CSAUTO Is Amazing, It will change how you listen to music, I am a true audiophile when it comes to sound and this baby makes it all the more enjoyable. I am running 2 Arc5x7 Speakers and 2 Kicker CVR102 Subs and this headunit makes my system morph into a music theater. I Highly Recommend Panasonic Headunits.

they dont get much more powerful than this without an external amp
yeah, what the title says.... and... its got great sound output! real nice display... I love the way ipod songs are displayed, easy to read... I just wish it were easier to navigate the pod.... hitting the down arrow until I get to the S's or T's kinda sucks.... I even have some Z bands i really like, and it takes me like 20 minutes just to get to them!
